Background Check....Check!

I just received my mail this morning and I just received two wonderful things to make my new year so much brighter! I received my background check and a book from Amazon, so I am set for a productive year ahead of me. This book, a collected anthology of plays by Timberlake Wertenbaker, is practically my savior for my upcoming auditions. For those of you who don't know me, I am a Theatre major who is required to audition every single semester during the first week back to school. Talk about a welcome back to school. So this book will definitely give me a head start above people because, in my area, this particular playwright might as well not exist. I couldn't find her plays in any of the 5 area libraries. Well, I could find her at one, but I have a large overdue fee that I don't want to pay.

Positive news. With my background check and my medical report almost done, I am just waiting for my last reference to get back to me. I do have to write my essay, but as an English major, essay writing is not exactly too terrible. I can whip out a fairly great essay in no time.

P.S. Just got my syllabus for my Harry Potter class. You know what I am going to love? The only assigned things we have to worry about are viewing the movies and reading the books. Hello, best semester of my life!

I am off to get ready for my aunt's wedding!

So Close

Yea. It has been a while since I have written, but I must say that nothing of interest has really happened. Yes, I did send away for my background check and I am getting very close with my references, but for now, I am celebrating Christmas with my family. I wanted to make sure this year was awesome because, if all goes my way, I will not be in this country for Christmas next year. Hopefully, this Kentucky Christmas lover will learn about German Christmas.

So, anyone who reads this blog, I will have more to update as soon as I start this process. It will happen shortly, I promise!

P.S. The reason I have been behind is because of my classes. Guess who got all A's this semester!!
